What a humbling experience... This entry is in reference to the primitive dodgeball game listed on Connie's site. (Given to her by Pat.) I looked at the comments first...avg seems to be 20 seconds. With 2 outliers...Rich with 25+ seconds...and Steve with less than 0.4 seconds.
Dodgeball...psh...can't be that hard.
~1st try 0.375 seconds. (Okay...hard to escape thru the left)
~2nd try 0.296 seconds. (Okay...can't touch the black boarder.)
It's alright...it's alright...I'm just getting warmed up.
~30+ minutes later yours truly with a personal best of 17+ seconds.
Ain't no thang...I'm a few seconds behind the crew. Ain't bad ain't bad.
TONIGHT (or Friday morning however you would like to call it.) I pass the link to a few AIM friends. Avg score...13 seconds. At this point I feel pretty sweet about myself. Besides Steve I'm not the 2nd worse anymore. (Steve + Star Craft= Floating Command Center.) But then "WAAAPAAAA" Jenny Yang posts up a score of 43 seconds. Not once but TWICE!!! I've never ate 43 pieces of Humble Pie that fast before. Just to later have 64+ more pieces 3 minutes later!!! Yes you read it right...she made it to 64 seconds.
I tell this queen not to sit too comfortably cause this king is about to claim his throne!!! (No, not the toilet Cougar) I spent 15 min tring to beat it. After 15 long minutes...I was able to break the 18 second mark. I Couldn't do it. So what do I do next? I recruited 9 other guys to help me. We all couldn't do it. The closest we came? 30 seconds by Tim Li. I now throw in my towel. Girls are great. I will not speak for my other boys...but I stink.
**Edit** It took 10 guys...but Jared Lee has got 84 seconds on the game. Good Job Jared.
What's sad: It took 10 guys to beat one girl.
What's even more sad: I couldn't do it myself and had to enlist 10 other men to do it for me.
What's filling: Humble Pie.
