In all of my career at CCUC...I've never felt that I've contributed more to the team than this year. Got a coupla assists...and even a steal! Increased my scoring tourne total from last year by 400%! (I set myself a 300% increase this year.) It sounds more incredible than it actually was. Cause all I scored last year was 1 point. Off a free throw. That bounced around a lot. That almost bounced out. But luckily didn't.
The coolest highlight of the whole trip...Both CBC teams praying and giving thanks together in the middle of the basketball court. It was cool. So cool in fact that I forgot to take a picture of it. We ended up 2nd. But that's alright. I was happy with the results. They wanted it more...they had something to prove. And they proved it. So congrats to Randy's team and his Red Rover play.
The most regrettable part of the trip. I didn't get to eat at the all you can eat meat Brazilian restaurant. There was gonna be skewers and skewers of meat...meat wrapped in bacon. =)... Oh well, I ended up eating something that is also a favorite of mine. Popeye's spicy fried chicken. Mmmmmmmmm.
I wish I was able to stay longer just to hang out with (in no particular order): Pat, Gerald, Viv, Ben, Eric, or Joyce. Oh well...till next time they say. And I'm expecting Pat to move up here soon anyways. ;)
